Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel were a villainous tag team consisting of Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel who are both currently signed to WWE both competing on the WWE Smackdown, they are both best known for their time in Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE NXT and WWE RAW brand.

Slater and Gabriel debuted on the first season of WWE NXT , although none of them won the season.The season was won by Wade Barrett ,which they later align with in the future.Then on the Viewer's Choice edition of RAW , the both of them and the rest of the season 1 rookies (The Nexus) attacked WWE personnel ,wrestlers and even the returning Bret Hart ,who was appointed general manager of RAW by Mr. McMahon because Hart refused to give them WWE contracts to compete on the RAW brand.Both Slater and Gabriel were awarded WWE contracts and began competing for RAW since then. On the October 25th edition of RAW , Slater and Gabriel won their first ever WWE Tag Team Championships by beating John Cena and David Otunga after Wade Barrett ordered Otunga to lie down and let Slater covered Otunga to the mat.Gabriel and Slater held the championship for nearly two months, before losing it to Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov in a four-way elimination match also involving The Usos and Mark Henry and Yoshi Tatsu on the December 6 episode of RAW. Gabriel and Slater received a rematch for the championship at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs on December 19, but lost by disqualification when Nexus member Michael McGillicutty interfered. After months of been part of The Nexus,CM Punk became the new leader and dubbing the group's name to The New Nexus after then leader Wade Barrett was exiled from The Nexus and Slater and Gabriel left the group after they refused their initiation entry to The New Nexus by beating up each other with kendo sticks.
They both skipped to the Smackdown brand where they rejoined Wade Barrett again.Slater and Gabriel then formed another group that goes by the name of The Corre. The three of them later aligned themselves with Ezekiel Jackson and all four attacked the The Big Show and started a feud with him. After winning a non-title match against the champions Kozlov and Marella on the February 4 episode of SmackDown, Gabriel and Slater received a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship two weeks later, but lost via disqualification when the other members of The Corre interfered. They received a rematch at the Elimination Chamber PPV on February 20 and defeated Marella and Kozlov to win the WWE Tag Team Championship for the second time. The following night on RAW, Gabriel and Slater lost the championship to John Cena and The Miz, but won the titles back minutes later after Barrett invoked The Corre's rematch clause, and The Miz turned on Cena thus making Slater and Gabriel a 3 time WWE Tag Team Champions.On the 22nd April edition of SmackDown, the duo of Gabriel and Slater lost the Tag Team Championship to the team of Kane and The Big Show. In a backstage segment following the match, Gabriel was attacked by Slater, who thought Gabriel blamed him for their loss.After Ezekiel Jackson was exiled from The Corre , Slater and Gabriel then walked away from the group a few weeks later on the June 10th edition of Smackdown , thus disbanning the stable.
After they both parted ways with Barrett and went on to win tag team matches in the following weeks beating the likes of The Usos, and local talents and various superstars.During their fued with The Usos , Slater and Gabriel collected a few victories over them.Then on the July 8th edition of Smackdown , The Usos defeated Slater and Gabriel for the first time and then the both of them had a visible disagreement and argument in the ring following the match.
On the July 15th edition of Smackdown , Gabriel and Slater faced each other in which Slater said that he is tired of sharing his spotlight with Gabriel and that he should be on top of the WWE and not Gabriel. Gabriel however won the match with his finisher,the 450 Splash.The both of them would later compete in the Smackdown Money In The Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank ,however both of them failed to win the match.The match was won by Daniel Bryan. Since then they began competing under single's competition and parted ways.They both later fought in another match on the 22nd December edition of Superstars and 28th December edition of NXT Redemption with Gabriel getting the pinfall over Slater once again.
